After working in radio and television broadcasting, I moved to Japan in 1997 and began teaching English as a second language (ESL).  I was trained to teach ESL at the Berlitz Language Center in Osaka, Japan. I earned a teaching certification in my home state of Texas.

I have worked in Japan, South Korea and the United States for more than 25 years and I have taught thousands of students from countries around the world.

In addition to being a language teacher, I am also a student. I speak Japanese and Spanish. My hobbies are singing, yoga, and cycling. I love teaching and I’m sure you will enjoy learning with me!
